RESEARCH TITLE:

Comparative Analysis of Academic Performances of Students between Online Learnings and Face to
face Learnings

RESEARCH BACKGROUND:

A comparative analysis is an essay in which two things are compared and contrasted. You may have
done a "compare and contrast" paper in your English class, and a comparative analysis is the same
general idea, but as a graduate student you are expected to produce a higher level of analysis in your
writing.

Comparative Study analyzes and compares two or more objects or ideas. Comparative studies are the
studies to demonstrate ability to examine, compare and contrast subjects or ideas. Comparative study
shows how two subjects are similar or shows how two subjects are different.

Online learning is a type of distance education in which teachers and learners are physically separate and
instruction and content are delivered primarily through the internet. But I define an online course as one
in which 51% or more of the course is delivered online. Primary instruction online is often
supplemented by face to face classes. Online learning is the newest and most popular form of distance
education today. Within the past decade it has had a major impact on post-secondary education and the
trends is only increasing.

The traditional classroom or face-to-face instruction is when the instructor and the students of a
nonprofit educational institution are in a place devoted to instruction and the teaching and learning take
place at the same time. Face-to-face education involves traditional classroom learning. Students who
study at a face-to-face learning institute attend classes daily. Classes vary from early morning to
afternoon lessons.
