3) Mode selector switch
a) When the ignition is switched on, "Auto" is
selected by default.
b) When "Auto" mode is turning, if the work mode
swicth is pressed, the mode does not change.
c) Work mode changes can not be done while in
the "Auto" mode. Press the auto mode switch to
exit "Auto" mode. It will switch to "H" mode.

2) Operation
When the auxiliary hydraulic switch (1) is turned to hammer function (when the option is installed) and the option
pedal is pressed, the pressure switch (2) is on and the engine speed drops to the pre-set hammer speed (see
engine speed setting for hammer option).
When the option pedal returns to the neutral position, the pressure switch (2) is deactivated and the engine speed
returns to the throttle control setting.
For the pre-set hammer engine speed to function, the throttle control (5) has to be set at a higher speed than the
pre-set hammer engine speed.
When the pressure switch (2) is on, the value of current delivered by the proportioning valve (4) becomes that of
mode "S".

Operation
1. Controls the pilot oil of the boom and arm spools.
2. This feature can be turned off by the operator.
3. Each time the machine is started, it will be in
cushion ON.
NOTE: The main electronic control box needs a RPM
signal for cushion OFF.
Output to the cushion solenoid valve is OFF when the
key switch is ON. This is cushioned status.
To turn the cushion feature OFF the cushion switch is
pressed. The main electronic control box will sent
24V to the cushion solenoid valve.
The solenoid valve shifts and sends pilot pressure to
the cushion valve and shifts the valve to the non-
cushion position.

A. To scroll between the Normal display and Diagnostic display screens press the Travel and Work mode switch
simultaneously for 3 seconds
B. To scrool between the CHK, DIAG, HR and RST1 press the Auto mode switch

and TR3 faults will be displayed. When fault codes in the diagnostic mode (DIAG) is cleared this information will also be
cleared. Do not hold the Travel switch longer than 10 seconds.
E. Self-Check of the protected transistor circuits can be checking automatically. While holding the One-Touch idle button
turn the key switch on then release the idle button. The controller will energize each of the TR circuits automatically. If a
over-current is detected the display will indicate a "ELECTRICAL PROBLEM" and sound the alarm. If no over-current
is detected only the alarm will sound. Return to CHK2 to see which circuits have been recorded. CHK6 will not appear
on the display
F. To erase data in CHK5 & DIAG2 scrool to DIAG2. To erase data in DIAG5 scrool to DIAG5. To erase data in HR1-
HR12 scrool to HR1. At each of these fields, press the Work mode switch for 10 seconds (buzzer will sound) turn OFF
the key
G. To change between the International and English units for the diagnostic check screens use the working light switch on
the display monitor. By pressing this once, the main electronic control box will change from English to International
units or vice versa.

1. Disconnect the pressure detector connector from
the hydraulic pump.

connected to wire YL (yellow/blue) on the service
