Week 10 - Movie Activity

After watching the movie, “Artificial Intelligence”, reflect on the message of the movie and
make your reflection about it. Use the IBC (Introduction, Body and Conclusion) format and limit
your paragraph into 20-25 sentences.

Technology is all about helping people. However, technology development is not driven
to maximize all of society's goals. Applications that make money get built, while applications
that don't make money don't get built. Bridging the gap between the possible and the profitable in
socially beneficial applications of technology is critical, and it's an important effort that requires
the attention of the technology community.

The movie Artificial Intelligence showed the drawbacks of using the benefits and
advantages of technology for personal interest and overpowering of greed to get money and
power. For some giant and wealthy companies owned by people usually in position for control
and being the greedy that they are, creates chaotic developments to satisfy their interests.
Without thinking of the effects that would either lead to mass destruction, sometimes people
would still choose to get things done in line on their thoughts. The movie shows how technology
was used in a way that it would like to oppose the normal composition of a human body and this
is a manifestation of the possible future of the technologies considering that everyone has access
as to how technology can be easily formed. The opportunities are many and the needs are great.
Technologists love to solve problems; it's what they do best. We need to provide new models for
how to accomplish great things with technology.

The future is about collaboration and teamwork where technology enables people to
participate in the created growth. With this growth, people are becoming more curious and
innovative to the extent of creating and developing which are beyond the reality. It can be
manifested that the human brain produces extraordinary imaginaries that would enable
technology to work more than what is usually do.
