Chapter 1. Introduction

1.1 Introduction

This design calculation report has been prepared using the latest American codes and Standards.
The report is for those who has engineering background and familiars with design codes and Standard
such as AISC, ASCE, MBMA and ASW Standard. For this project specifically, only calculation of
typical Beam-Column member of the structure has been shown in summary in this report. That
Solicitations was gotten by Analysis Software behind mention. We summarize the design for only one
of Column-Beam which are the most critical.
1.2 Analysis Software

Engineering computer programs have been used to determine the structural analysis and design as
requirements. This project has been designed using PTC Mathcad Prime 6.0.0.0. For the internal
forces was received from (Etabs) that considered global effect already. In PTC Mathcad Prime
6.0.0.0 calculation consider only Direct Analysis Methods for Second Order Analysis, Moreover
will describe.
