Educating your peers on the harmful effects of plastic
pollution in the oceans

Context
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 14 is Life Below
Water. The oceans are an essential global resource and the focus
of Goal 14 is to protect our oceans by using it's resources
sustainably. Pollution, including plastic pollution, in causing our
oceans conditions to deteriorate.

The Problem
Too much plastic waste is entering our oceans. After talking to our
peers within the school community, we found out that many people
are using single use plastics on a daily basis. Over 89% of plastic
waste found on the ocean floor is single use plastic! You are to design
and produce an eBook, using Book Creator, educating your school
community on making ocean friendly choices.
