    Dear Parents and Guardians,

    During the month of October, I was able to begin my monthly school counselor
    visits to each class! We focused on kindness and helping the students recognize
    how to be proactive and spread kindness here at Wellsville Elementary. Each
    student created a list of acts of kindness that they can complete at school. Please
    encourage your students to take time to reach out to their classmates and work to
    mark off each act of kindness on their list.

    Here are a few of the acts of kindness our students came up with:
    • Play with someone new
    • Help someone if they fall
    • Smile
    • Help someone with their homework
    • Say “Thank You”
    • Include everyone

    It has been a joy getting to know your students!
