The Role of HR in Managing Corporate Image Organizational

Perspective
(Policies and Procedures) 3 Hours

Corporate image refers to a company's reputation. It is what the

public is supposed to see when the corporation is mentioned.
Corporations trying to shape their image are equivalent to
individuals who will dress appropriately, cultivate polite manners,
and choose their words carefully in order to come across
competent, likeable, and reliable. It is therefore important for us to
learn how to lead and control corporate image to meet company’s
standards.
This workshop equips HR professionals with necessary skills to redefine corporate image policies by
managing their employees to dress appropriately and compile with corporate standards. With best
practices sharing of how to develop an appropriate corporate image, our trainer will also share his past
experience on how to manage re-branding policy-making and the challenges (including discrimination
issues) it brings.

HR policies:
1. Use of dress and appearance policies to project professional image and branding, with sharing on real
business cases
2. Ensuring employees following company standard:
 Different types of dress code (formal business attire, 3 levels of business casual and smart casual)
 Grooming and hygiene standards from head to toe
 Pros and cons of uniform including safety, branding, appropriateness and equality
3. HR’s role in policy development and execution to align employer goals and culture while protecting the
employer from discrimination claims and protecting employee’s rights
Facilitating control:
4. Legal issues in managing equal employment opportunities, including disability, gender disparities,
gender identity and accommodations, health and safety issues, religious expression, dress and sexual
harassment
5. Best practices sharing/previous case studies on how to help HR manage Corporate Image
