Dear Susan Gets of Webb’s Holiday Acres:

I’m pleased to submit this resume. I have been going to Webb’s Holiday
for five years now. My first time at webb’s was in 2015 and I was just 12
years old. From 2015-2017 I attended Webb’s Holiday Acres as a camper
and in 2018 I came to Webbs for two weeks in a row as a L.I.T (Leader In
Training). Then in 2019 I stayed for 3 weeks as a volunteer and I would like
to in 2021 come back as a senior staff member.

I have earned the skills to be a valuable camp counsellor from my past

training at Webb’s and past experience as a staff member on the team. I
am able to saddle up and tack the horses on my own and I am fully capable
of cleaning and maintaining structure within the barn. I am also comfortable
taking action and getting the children excited for more fun and engaging
activities. I’m more than equipped to diffuse arguments between both the
campers and my peer staff members through talking out the problem and
fixing the problem.

As a senior staff member i’d also like to gain new skills and better
myself as a person. I’d like to learn how to run a camp and how to be a
more efficient camp counsellor. I also would like to get first aid training and
gain some organization skills. I want to be at the camp to learn more life
skills and knowledge.
