GLA SEEKS OAS PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES

FOR A CUBAN JOURNALIST
Alexandria, Virginia - On November 3, the Global Liberty Alliance (GLA) applied for
precautionary measures from the Organization of American States (OAS)’s Inter-American
Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) on behalf of a Cuban journalist.”**

“We hope the Commission acts promptly on behalf of this reporter who has been targeted
by the regime for many years; however, the repression the past few weeks has escalated and the
reporter fears for his safety and life,” said Jason Poblete of the Global Liberty Alliance.
