Elementary Recycling plan

Bring bag of recyclable items and non recyclable items

Recyclable : paper bag, paper, plastic cup, bottle, soda can

Non Recyclable : pizza box, straw, Styrofoam cup

Talk with the class about recycling, ask them if they do it at home

Go through each item with the class, after sort them into two teams

Line each team up side by side across the room from trash and recycle bins

Hand the leader of the line for each team a random item, have them race to put it in the bins
