LEGISLATIVE SUMMARY
The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) has stated that it would allow private sector
companies to apply to GOSI to request it to support up to 60% of its Saudi national employees’ wage for
three months (May through July). For those employees who meet the criteria laid down by GOSI the
employer won’t be required to pay insurance contributions for the beneficiary employee.

Annuities and Saned Contributions
To suspend Saned and Annuities for both employee and employer contributions you can add the Saudi
GOSI Annuities Override calculation component details to the Employee GOSI Details calculation card.
Enter 0 for both Annuities and Saned override amounts. This will override the calculated values for
Saned, and Annuities for both employees and employers.
Hazard Contributions
You can’t override Hazard contributions, but you can create an additional element for employer charges
to manage this calculation.
1. Navigate to Setup and Maintenance work area and click Elements task.

5. Complete the fields as shown below:

6. Create the element eligibility. Ensure that the calculated value of the GOSI Hazards is returned
to the input value Pay Value.
7. Go to balance definitions and balance GOSI Hazards.
8. Add a new row to balance feeds.
9. Select the employer charges element you created with input value Pay Value and add or
subtract as Subtract.
The GOSI Hazards balance will hold the value 0 as long as this element is processed.
You can end date the element, when required, so that it is no longer processed.
