Seetieeewach Gamat
aniw Elementary School has successfully prepared
and delivered the Self Learning Modules before the
class opens on October 5.
‘A total of 110 modules in 8 subjects are already
distributed a week before class opening to all DES
leamers. This is to give them time read the SLMs and
give their feedback about the modality the school will
use. Consequently, many parents are apprehensive on the
new normal in education. But with confirmation of
extensive support from the school, the teachers and the
parents believes that they can do it together. Moreover,
many stakeholders pledge their help like the Sangguniang
Baranggay who takes part in the distribution and retrieval
of the L eamer’s Material.
Teachers, Mr. Mark Bruce Cometa and Mrs. Solaica
Lourdes V. Cometa already asked certain internet
provider if they can put up internet access in the school
unfortunately, due to the school’s location, which is not

ener diiculy is one of DES struggle in this school
year. Though, in Modular Approach, communication is
also a vital aspect for the successful undertaking of the
Teaching and Leaming Process. However, how could this,
be possible if even cellular phones have no signal forcall
and text. “nalabas po kame sa may tulay o kaya po ay sa
may cout para makasagap ng signal” said Teresita
‘Manposte, parent.
Not everything is suitable for everyone. DES may
not be blessed with the benefits of intemet, but it is not a
reason to stand half way. They continue on looking for
possible ways to address this problem. For the mean time,
portable wifi placed on a height is a tentative solution and
even though teachers might work outside the school
where the connection is strong.

Pupils about her role in guiding hher children in the Modular
Distance Learning upon the opening of classes, Oct. 5.
Itis definitely a challenge for parents and guardians to
track and teach their children this school year under the
Modular Modality. Especially if the parents are not capable
due to some reasons. “Ako nga po ay hindi gaano kaalam sa
Math, pararin akong nag-aaral uli” added Emer. Though,
such way is difficult, it is the best option for the school and
the parents to work together for the education of the leamers
To assure parents in this matter, the school opens ahelp
desk were parents can ask things which they find difficult.
They caninguire thru mobile or even visit the school. In
this time, helping one another is the key to overcome any
struggle. Parents to be teachers, as teachers become
parents.
