Group -1 Fast Fashion & it’s consequences

Members: Ankita Kumari, Khushi Rana, Nishi Goyal, Pallavi Swain,

Prabhgun Kaur, Pranav Shekhawat, Rikita Jain & Shruti Parihar. 1
Initially we brainstormed on a wide range of ideas, shortlisted some and then decided to work
on Textile waste management.

2
We did some initial research on
Textile Waste and got confused
as to should we really continue
working on this topic or not?

Consulted ma’am and got

more clarity to work on the
same topic.

Note-Since it is a PDF 3\DP\G1\me\TEXTILE WASTE (2).pdf
so could not export it
into image.

• While brainstorming we found out that Fast

Fashion is a major contributor in the increase of
textile waste. So we did more research on fast
fashion and came to "Zero waste clothing for 21st
century".

• We (people) are the major contributors and

promoters of fast fashion.

Later after this presentation we
discussed Ideate Mixtape.

In the group meeting we

discussed about it and tried to
frame How Might We questions.

We discussed on the insights

and patterns that we found out
and then framed our HMW
questions. 171
Later we presented the HMW questions in the class.

FEEDBACK ON PRESENTATION 6

• Some questions were appreciated by the batch

mates
• There was an inclusivity factor ( make the
questions broader)
• Targeting maximum population
• Start HMWs with a fresh mind to think and explore
more.

We again reworked on our HMW Questions &

presented our entire journey till now.

FEEDBACK ON PRESENTATION 7

•More specific
•Highlight key points & words in Empathy map
•Reframing using different words
•Taking care of the aspects in one go
•What are we really looking at?
•2-3 questions at max
•Are we including everything that is possible?
•Are we addressing the needs of everyone?
•Look at sustainability & it’s meaning

195
• We re worked on our questions and reframed
them.
• We first did research on Sustainability and Ethics.
Then we got confused after that since both the
words included many words within them.
• So we again went back to our Empathy map &
Insights and then we read them collectively. After
identifying key words we separated them into
categories and distributed the previous made
questions into categories and eliminated the
repeated questions.
• After distributing the questions we combined some
questions and key words out of those. Out of the
reframed questions we chose 2 questions that
covered most.
