I personally felt the NCLEX was easier. However, I also

feel that the only reason I passed on my first try with 75
questions is because I studied, and studied, and studied
some more. I scored below benchmark on every HESI
exam I took in school except for Pediatrics, which really
made me wonder if I could even pass the NCLEX at all. I
had exactly a month to study when I registered so I took
full advantage of it. I studied UWORLD, Kaplan, Saunders,
and Mark Klimek - I swear by UWORLD though. I did
practice questions day and night that whole month and
when I sat down to test, I was really surprised. The
questions were very vague and barely touched on what I
studied but because I did so many practice questions and
read all the rationales, it was like I was just doing another
practice exam. I know this isn’t the case with everyone,
but myself and most of my classmates do agree that the
NCLEX was easier than we all expected it to be.
