VanWest - The Past

If you search for a book with well-developed characters and unpredictable actions, this book
definitely will grip you from the very beginning. Personally, I am a huge fan of fiction in
dystopian and science fiction, so I could not put this book down! Because of the author’s
multifaceted imagination, the reader can immediately imagine the world, which is full of
surprises and uncertainties. The main character is VanWest governing body of Earth to prevent a
terrorist organization from changing history. He was trained his entire life to compete and win,
as his enemies are the Utopians who believe that modern technology is evil, and they wanted to
stop the development of CERN and change the future. So, throughout the book, we observe the
actions and thoughts of the hero and how he encounters manipulation and corruption. With the
help of the character’s experience, the writer shows how the perspectives of the people can
change in an instant. Despite the fact that the book starts as a video game and you plunge into it,
the book has a deep meaning, which makes the reader speculate about current problems and
events. Hence, I really enjoyed reading this fantastic science fiction book, which was written
very clear and distinct!

The Present

The second book in VanWest series, VanWest: The Present, is inviting the reader to the
adventures, partaken by protagonist VanWest in the first book of the series, VanWest:
The Past. VanWest begins in the underworld of New Jersey, where he is ready to
continue dangerous attempts to get to Mars and complete his mission. While the reader
will see many old and a wild variety of new characters, VanWest remains our core hero
who will be tested a lot. The Present is full of lots of intrigue and drama, and just when
you think you know what's going on, the author totally changes the coordination.
Kenneth Thomas is truly an astounding writer since despite the factions of this universe
are creative science fiction inventions, there's the same familiarity with current social
issues that worked so well in the first VanWest novel and here as well. Moreover,
because of the author’s beautifully descriptive writing and comprehensive descriptions, it
isn’t a hard thing to ideally imagine events and the fantastic world. So, if you're a sci-fi
fan, I encourage you to read this masterpiece and you won’t regret it. I am sure you will
enjoy it like me!
