3. Why is it important to follow the rules on subject-verb agreement?
Well, for your sentence be in correct grammar. For your sentence be in
harmony with the established rules in English regarding construction of sentence.
And lastly, for you to convey the your message properly and easy to understand.

Verbs need to agree with their subjects in number (singular or plural) and in
person (first, second, third).
Read and study the basic rules on subject-verb agreement on your English 5
textbook pages 175 – 177.

Answer Exercise A on page 178.

Exercise A: Choose the correct form of the verb that agrees with the subject of
each of the given sentences.
