SUBJECT : Corrigendum to National Office No. 48, s. 2020 re 2020 Search for the
Outstanding Boy Scouts

1. Item #5 of the said memorandum which states “For the purpose of equity, the Regional Office
can nominate as many qualified nominees to represent their Region for the National Level
Search” is hereby corrected and should read as follows:

The number of Regional winners to be selected based on the December 2019 Scout Membership with
a minimum of one and a maximum of four are as follows:

Ilocos Region -2
Northeastern Luzon Region -2
Central Luzon Region -4
National Capital Region -2
Southern Tagalog Region -4
Bicol Region -1
Western Visayas Region -2
Eastern Visayas Region -4
Western Mindanao Region -2
Eastern Mindanao Region -3

2. Also, please be informed that the initial screening for the TOBS Nominees will be conducted by the
TOBS Secretariat at the National Office. After which, qualified nominees will be returned to their
respective Local Councils. From there on, the qualified nominees will have to submit pertinent
documentary requirements as specified in the search criteria and will be endorsed by the Local Councils
to their respective Regional Office for the Regional Search. (Please refer to National Office
Memorandum No. 48, s. 2020 for the schedule of the Regional Search).

3. Likewise, the virtual interview for National Capital Region’s Finalists is scheduled on 30 October 2020.
