Vikram Batra belonged to Himachal and this daring
soldier helped in capturing the crucial peak point 5140
during Kargil war
As the Captain of his Delta Company, he toppled many
enemies' post but he later succumbed to his injuries.
He was honoured with Param Vir Chakra
Pakistan recognised as the Sher Shah (literally translated
to Lion King) of India.
