Evelyn Glennie claims that ,,holidays are about experiences and people, and turning into what you

feel
like doing at the moment’’. I completely agree with this quote.

According to British dictionary a holiday is an extended period of leisure and recreation. Firstly, I think
that meeting new people will give you an inside satisfaction and it will be delighting hearing stories
from individuals around the world, each with its own shades influenced by different cultures. This will
give you a view of what happens worldwide. Secondly all too often we let the fear of the unknown stop
us. Pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones is actually good for us. Trying new things not only helps
us to vanquish those fears, but it also allows us to expand our minds and learn—both about said new
thing, and about ourselves and what we are actually capable off. When it comes to vacations a lot of
adults tend to stress about work. As jobs become difficult to find and keep, people are also becoming
increasingly concerned about their income, investing long hours at work at the cost of other important
aspects of their lives. Researchers claim that this is unhealthy for us and may have consequences like
getting anxiety or even depression. From my point of view you need to take a break at least twice a
year. Go to the beach, take a sunbath and enjoy the moment without caring about your job, bills or
tasks.

To sum up, I think that life is more about spiritual values that material ones. There is a whole world to
discover out there and if you will chose to stay in your comfort zone then at the end of your life regrets
may appear .
