Herding:
This is when the Dairy Farmer gathers all the cows for milking. It usually
happens 1 Hour prior to milking.

Fencing:
This is a way to ensure that cows will stay on a certain area where they can
all graze.

Cleaning the milking cans:


This is where a Dairy Farmer ensure that milking cans are clean for the milk
to retain its highest quality possible.
Prepping the Cows:
This step includes the cleaning of the Cow tits to ensure that the milk won’t
have an unwanted bacteria with it.
Feeding with Concentrates:
When the cows enter the milking parlor a dairy farmer puts concentrates to
feed the cows this will allow the cows to be more relaxed.
Mastitic Cow Milking:
Some cows have mastitis, hence they should be milked separately for them
not to possibly infect other cows.
Feeding the Calves:
After collecting the milk some of it will be fed to the young for they need milk
to steadily grow.
Changing the beddings:
This is for sanitation purposes, this will provide a good resting ground for the
young and also to ensure their health is at its peak.
Cleaning the milking machine:
After milking the machine should be cleaned thoroughly to keep it hygienic
and maintain its capability to collect milk.
