1. What methods or repertoire did the teacher use?


She warmed up the student and the student, and she started to work on a difficult aria for lyric
Soprano.

Master Student, High Level

3. What technical exercise or musical concept did the teacher discuss?


They worked on the piece basically, every phrase and vowel, also, they worked in many
technical aspects about voice projection and all those.

4. Did the student respond successfully to the teacher’s instruction?


Yes, she followed all the instructions that the professor suggested.

5. What about the teacher’s demonstration did you find effective? Non effective?
The Teacher showed her several times how the correct sound and the wrong sound. It was
interesting because the sound of the voice changes a lot with the examples.

6. What strategies did the teacher use for motivating the student to practice?
She has a recital coming, so she suggested to focus on this aria. Also, she suggested that this
Aria was perfect for her voice.

7. What things did you like/or not like?


I relay like, the technique details and the refinement in the sound.
I dislike that for me is difficult when the teacher sang, and the student imitated her. It is very
risky because the student could start to imitate the sound or the color of the professor

8. Did the teacher use any technology in the lesson?


Professor was in her office, she used the computer, internet. And that is it.
