In the DepEd Memo No. 158, s. 2019, November marks the “Reading Month”. The West Poblacion Elementary School joined the month-long celebration of the 2019 National Reading Month (NRM) with its theme, Magbasa’t Umunlad last November 4, 2019, spearheaded by the School English Coordinator. Various reading activities were made available for pupils. Activities were done by grade level without disruption of classes. The activities done are Story Telling Using Big Books, Project DEAR, Leaders of Readers, Help A Reader. Be A Volunteer and Share A Book. Story telling has still been proven, as the most well-loved classic reading activity especially among primary learners.
