Flexi Pole Kit (FPKC) description

This section describes the following hardware:
 Flexi Pole Kit (FPKC) 472821A

Figure: Flexi Pole Kit (FPKC)

Flexi Pole Kit (FPKC) is based on the VMPB and FPKA pole mounting kits. It allows four-directional installations of
Flexi modules and Remote Radio Heads. The following installations are supported:
 For 2U/3U module installations, see Table: 2U/3U modules inside casings:

60 to 300 mm (2.36 in to 11.81 in) 1 to 4 No No No

60 to 115 mm (2.36 in to 4.53 in) 1 to 8 Yes Yes Yes

190 to 300 mm (7.48 in to 11.81
in)

 Up to six Remote Radio Heads (with a maximum of 425 mm (16.7 in.) total width each, solar shields included).
 Square-shaped poles and L-bar poles with L-bar size between 50 x 50 mm (2 x 2 in.) and 210 x 210 mm (8.3 x
8.3 in.) are supported.
Note that Flexi Power AC/DC Submodule (FPAC/D) cannot be mounted behind the RRH with FPKC when mounted
directly to a pole, or if another FPKCbracket is directly behind the FPAC/D in a perpendicular configuration.
The maximum weight limit is 228 kg (502.7 lbs), i.e. a configuration of eight 3U modules with front and back covers and
four FMFAs. One FPKC kit weighs 4.9 kg (10.8 lbs).

configurations, expansion path 1,Figure: FPKC and RRH configurations, expansion path 2 and Figure: FPKC and 2U/3U
module configurations using FMFA show the principles of creating basic and expansion-optimized configurations
using FPKC kits. If you are going to expand your 2U/3U module configurations later, utilise Flexi Mounting Kits for
Floor, Wall and Pole (FMFA) starting from the first configuration. FMFAs are required for configurations larger than four
2U/3U modules to allow enough room for a four-directional installation.
