Your task will be to actively build empathy for and with
people, users, groups and their interests. To understand the
passions and the people we design for and with.

We want you to understand that research is not just
gathering information from the internet and pasting it into
the project. Research takes all forms and whenever possible
is the creation of new knowledge. Designing research allow
you to ask appropriate questions, experiments with places,
spaces and things, while also recording your observations
and actions. Research might take many forms but it is not
just a passive desk-based activity, it will require you to go out
into the world and spend time with people, experience their
passions, see places, reads books in Libraries, take photos,
build observations, build laboratories, build different ways
of seeing the world.
