These have
been drilled into our minds at a young age as the seven continents of the world. However, did
you know how these continents came to be? Geologists have come up with the theory of
continental drift to explain the division of continents we know today. In this essay, three pieces
of evidence to support continental drift will be discussed and an explanation of why the theory
was initially dismissed by scientists.

in 1912.
