How to search the MP Post Reference Guide using the Index

To use the Index, you must have Acrobat Reader with 4. Choose Open. The index is selected for searching:
Search, which includes Acrobat Reader and two Acrobat
plug-ins: Acrobat Search and AutoIndx. The Adobe
Acrobat Search command is enabled with the Acrobat
Search plug-in. It allows you to perform full text searches
of the entire three-volume Version 9 MP Post Online
Reference Guide and define advanced query criteria.
Search is faster and more powerful that the Find
command.

The first time you use the Version 9 MP Post Online

Reference Guide, you must select its index:
1. Choose Edit, Search, Select Indexes to list the
currently available indexes.
2. Choose Add.
3. Navigate to the Version 9 MP Post folder and select
V9 MP Post Ref index.pdx:
Note: There may be other indexes also available for
searching, such as the Adobe Acrobat index.
5. Choose OK.
6. To search the index, click the button or choose
Edit, Search, Query, enter the words you want to
search for:

7. Choose Search.
Note: If your computer is not set to display file name
extensions, you will not see the .pdx extension. For more information on searching, please refer to the
Acrobat Help.
