Planning looks at the problem holistically wheras, projects have a specific domain
Metropolis: large city, economically politically and culturl centre
Metropolitan region: a dense populated core, less populated surrounding, dependednt
on the centre for livelihood anf economy
"The land-use" planning of the city must be synchronised with the city economy and
its urban systems
The Androon's small firm economy is becuase of it's proximity to the main road
networks
Principles of this economy:
Physical proximity of parts
Strategic location
Need
Cluster organization/ economies of agglomeration
