Established under Govt. of Delhi Act 6 of 2009
BAWANA ROAD, SHAHBAD DAULATPUR, DELHI-42

NOTICE

Subject: Instructions and guidelines for Resume Verification process for upcoming Recruitment
Session.

As an attempt to remove all the false claims and discrepancy in Resumes, TnP have took initiative to
verify all the possible information. For the record, following documents would be considered as proof
for various Internships, Experiences, Position of Responsibilities, and Certifications.

I. Internships and Work Experience:

• For all the completed Internships, ‘Internship Letter’ or ‘Internship Certificate’ is mandatory to
validate the authenticity.
• In case of ongoing Internship, ‘Selection Notice/ Letter/ Certificate’ will suffice as supporting
document.
• For DTU related Internships, specifically USIP and In-House Training, you can attach ‘Official
Notice’ with your name highlighted for convenience.

II. Certifications:

• For particular claims, like Courses and Certifications, students have to attach ‘Certificates’.
• In case you decide to mention any Skill without any certification claim, like Microsoft Office,
Software, Coding Languages, other general tools, Certificate isn’t required.

III. Position of Responsibilities (POR):

• For Core Council Positions of Societies/ Tech Teams/ Fests, including but not restricted to
President, Vice President, General Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, Wing Heads, Fest
Coordinators, Wing Coordinators, ‘Official Letter/ Notice with signature of respective Faculty
Advisor’ is mandatory. President or Council Head may take the responsibility for getting the
document prepared and circulated with the students.
• For positions like Co-Head, Organizer, or any temporary position allotted or designated during
the year for a certain activity or event, President/ Fest Coordinator needs to issue ‘Letter/ Notice
with list of position holders, signed by the President/ Fest Coordinator’. President/ Fest
Coordinator is strictly suggested to not to give biased favors. In case of discrepancy or proven
complaints, he/she would be held responsible with strict ramifications.
• Students specifying themselves as Member of Tech Team can provide ‘Participation Certificate
for the Competition their team participated’, or ‘List of team members signed by Faculty
Advisor’.
• For 2020-21 Councils being/ already formed, students should coordinate with existing
President. If the process is going to take a while, they can update their Resume next time when
T&P circulate the form, within few months.
• For PORs from last years, students would supposedly be in subsidiary roles rather than Core
Council Roles. In that case, President should issue a List which include the details for last year,
with discussion and support of the council.
• Guidelines are applicable for all the types of organizations, societies, tech teams, fests, and
sports teams functioning in DTU.
• Lists may skip students from 2K19 batch as these documents are solely required for verification
purposes for 2K17 and 2K18 Batch.
• Students quoting themselves as Volunteer or Member need not provide any particular proof.
However, it is suggested that these kind of participations can be mentioned under Extra-
Curricular Activities or Volunteering.
• To ensure transparency, Presidents/ Fest Coordinators/ Heads are requested to share final lists
with their students, before submitting or asking Faculty Advisor for verification.

For all the claims related to Position of Responsibility, a combined list of all the PORs would be shared
publicly. Students can raise issues or complaint in case of any false claims, your identity will remain
anonymous. All of this pain is being taken to provide unbiased opportunity for all the deserving
students. Therefore, we request students for refraining themselves from such malpractices. Any false
claim or favor would lead to strict actions, including debarment.

Considering the unavailability of some faculty advisors, the deadline has been extended as follows:

Deadline for filing Verification form remains the same.

Deadline for adding required documents to the folder: 30 July, 2020

All the Presidents/ Fest Coordinators/ Council Heads are supposed to upload all the lists on the
following link by 29th July 2020: https://forms.gle/A6Bi8UDSSXvAnZWv8
