Notes:

- El subjecte en anglès és obligatori.


- La forma contraguda és més comú en anglès que la forma plena.
- La forma contraguda de la negació també es pot fer afegint la partícula not a la forma
contraguda de l’afirmació: you’re not, he’s not, etc.
- Les respostes curtes s’utilitzen quan es diu sí o no i no s’afegeix cap altre tipus
d’informació.

Algunes expressions que en castellà es construeixen amb el verb tenir en anglès es


construeixen amb el verb to be!

- To be hot (tenir calor)


- To be cold (tenir fred)
- To be hungry (tenir gana)
- To be thristy (tenir sed)
- To be afraid (tenir por)
- To be lucky (tenir sort)
