This inspection is required to be carried out in case of Bomb Scare declared by

security agencies.

In case of Specific Bomb Scare, certification has to carried out by all concerned
as mentioned in this schedule.

In case of Non-Specific Bomb Scare, certification has to be carried out only by

Engineering and company Security Departments.

A.

A-1 Ensure all baggage from cargo compartments

are off loaded.

A-2 Ensure all cabin servicing and catering

equipment are removed from passenger cabin,
galleys and toilets.
A-3 Reference to be made to the previous routine for
access panels opened out for inspection. All
these panels to be opened again.

Note: For security check, if all panels are

inspected and closed in presence of an A.M.E.,
panels may not be opened again.

A-4 Inspect all panels for proper fitment. Open any

suspected panels and inspect relevant area.

B. Carry out close visual inspection to detect

presence of any foreign objects in the following
areas (and through quick access and other
panels opened in item A above as applicable):
B-1-1 CONTROL CABIN
INSPECT THE FOLLOWING AREAS FOR
EXTRANEOUS / SUSPICIOUS OBJECTS.
B-1-2 Entire control cabin area including floor,
ceiling,side and rear walls,cavities and bins.

B-1-3 All areas forward and aft of glareshields and

below the center instrument panel and around
the pedestal.

B-1-4 Flight deck seats including pouches and areas

under the seats.

B-1-5 Area forward of the rudder pedal.

B-1-6 Crew & Observer oxygen mask stowage, life

jacket stowage, escape device stowage and
smoke goggles retainer cavity.

B-1-7 Coat compartment area.

B-1-8 First Observer (folding) seat recess.

B-1-9 In the map cases.

B-4-1 PASSENGER CABIN

INSPECT THE FOLLOWING AREAS FOR
EXTRANEOUS / SUSPICIOUS OBJECTS.
B-4-2 Check Overhead bins for any left over items /
foreign objects and remove if required.

B-4-3 Check Overhead bins and area above bins.

B-4-4 Coat compartment.

B-4-5 Inspect seats and seat cushions and inspect the

area.

B-4-6 Check all seats back (pax & crew) pockets and
life vests stowage and their contents.

B-4-7 Check cabin food service tables and under the

tables including cavities for tables.

B-4-8 In all magazine pouches and the doggy box seat

the bulkheads.

B-4-9 Inspect door and surrounding area.

B-4-10 Entire area including floor, ceiling, side and rear

walls, windows and curtains (Do not remove
carpet unless presence of foreign object is
suspected).
B-4-11 Check life rafts ceiling stowage .

At Base:- Open First Aid Kits & Physician’s Kit .

Inspect for extraneous material. Replace the
First Aid Kits & Physician’s Kit.

At Outstations:- Open First Aid Kits &

Physician’s Kit . Inspect for extraneous material.
If found satisfactory reseal in the presence of
BDDS / Kingfisher Security personnel. Advise
Base to replace the First Aid Kits and
Physician’s Kit.

B-5-1 AFT TOILET

INSPECT THE FOLLOWING AREAS FOR
EXTRANEOUS / SUSPICIOUS OBJECTS.
B-5-2 Remove soiled and waste material if not already

B-10-2 Open refueling, defuelling panels, check, and
refit.

B-10-3 Open wing fuel spar valve quick access panel,

inspect and refit.

B-15-6 Open all servicing panels, water & toilet, oxygen

(if installed), electrical and air-conditioning check
and refit.

B-15-7 Outflow valve and Negative pressure relief valve

areas.
