How Knowing Your Learning Style Affects

Your ability to Perform Well in School?
 Description

My project goal is to help students comprehend their personal learning styles and find the most
convenient study strategies for the type of learner they are. A learning style is an individual’s
way of studying that is accustomed to their own strengths, weaknesses and preferences. To
accomplish one’s goals, the most effective thing as a learner is knowing yourself and your
abilities. If you discover your learning style, studying will become much easier and more
productive when you are alone and when you are communicating with your colleagues and
instructors.

Ted Talk Learning Styles Benefits of Finding Your Learning Style .

There were many articles and Ted Talks about learning styles and these are some examples that I
was able to find about learning styles. Most of them are specific and helpful facts for students to
understand the importance of learning styles. However, there are still a lot of people who do not mind
about their learning styles and that is why this project is important because there should be more
advertisements, logos, and tests provided for students to help them become a better learner.

Marketing & Promotion

For my project, I am going to be sharing the

infographic and survey with Mr.Stackley to
post them on Google Classroom so students
can take a look at them and figure out their
learning styles. Everything is for free and
will extremely be helpful for students who
are struggling with their grades.
I am also going to be posting about my
project on Social Medias such as
Instagram, Tweeter, Snapchat, etc to let
students know about the survey.

I have already made the google form so students can

complete it after they have finished the test.

- This is my project sample and it will be including the

three definitions of the learning styles and tips for
studying for each learning styles

Students may get similar percentage
of learning styles after they
complete the test. For example:
Auditory:45%, Tactile: 45%, Visual:
10%
However, since now, they know
visual is not their best learning style,
they can start focusing more about
studying by using the auditory and
tactile learning style.
Students may not find this survey
important and may not participate
in my project.
If students are not interested in the
survey, that means I should work
harder to let people realize the
importance of my project by being
more active on social medias.
Students may prefer other study
method than the one that is
suggested for their learning styles.
It is possible that student may still
prefer their own study method than
the one I would be suggesting, which
means I should include a message
saying that the test may not be true or
helpful to everyone on the poster.
