COMPANY

A.) INTRODUCTION

Since 1995 Mr. Leodegario R. Santos comes up with business through surplus rims and

tires in front of KCC Mall of Marbel, Koronadal City, South Cotabato. In more than 25 years of

delivering good and quality products and services, Koronadal Rim and Tire had become

phenomenal in the business and continuing building its satisfactory feedbacks and leading to

the most valuable distributors in town. Koronadal Rim and Tire have already branched

throughout Socksargen: Kwikfit Tyre Depot at Koronadal City Branch, Le’tires Sales and

Services Isulan, Sultan Kudarat and General Santos City Branch. It is not surplus but now

produces and providing its valued customers with branded rim and tires and also durable and

long-lasting batteries. One of these branches is here in Surallah was started in 2007 located at

Tonex building, Allah Valley Drive near Mercury Drugstore, and now providing passionate

services and affordable quality products in the upper valley area.

It is undeniably to say that we see vehicles along the road going back and forth now and

then. Various Trucks and vehicle companies have had developed durable tires but their lifespan

has been limited to the eyes of the consumers by how to utilize it on their day to day basis. In

other term, tires are not meant to forever. So, the concept of establishing the business is to

provide necessary parts of any mode of transportation or even construction and farm equipment

id est. tires and rims.

This business had come into the picture knowing that there is high demand in the market

and few are only engaged. It is an intelligent way to boost the economy (especially the local

economy). Appreciating now modernization evaluates which Surallah and neighboring

municipality, not forgetting the presence of companies existing whose primary modes of

delivering their produce island transportation. Pasts years KORONADAL RIM AND TIRE
CENTER durable and quality products that would end to nothing but customer satisfaction.

Assessing the need of establishing so, KORONADAL RIM AND TIRE CENTER has been

introduced and as ready to compete in the market up the upper valley areas of South Cotabato.

B.) DESCRIPTION OF STAKEHOLDER

OWNER

Since 1995-2020, Koronadal Rim and Tire Center was managed by Mr. Leodegario R.

Santos spending time and effort in ensuring to sustain the growth of the business and now it is

managed by his son and daughter. Justine and Kisha take over the management to maintain

good status up to the present.

Surallah branch extended and offer services by supplying their product locally. They

distribute good quality product in affordable price.

JCF AUTO SUPPLY, TRADING

Some of the small growing businesses here in the Municipality of Surallah have their

supplier and distributor. KRTC SURALLAH is continuing to supply quality and good products

such as branded tires and batteries to JCF AUTO SUPPLY, TRADING for some time until

today.

POWER ROCK

It is also an auto supply business located at Allah Valley Drive, Municipality of Surallah,

that provides high-quality services for almost a decade together with the partnership between

KRTC. A strong partnership is created a mutually beneficial arrangement between two

companies that do not directly compete with one another. The general idea is that two are better
than one, and by combining resources, partner companies add advantages for both companies

through the alliance.

TRANSWAY CORP

TRANSWAY sales corporation is based in the Philippines with the head office in Davao

City. It operates in the motor vehicle and parts dealer’s industry. The company engaged in

supplying different products nationwide including KORONADAL RIM AND TIRE CENTER for a

very long time.

NORTH TREND MARKETING

North Trend Marketing Corporation, the authorized distributor of Mobil lubricants and

greases since 2007 is continuously expanding its territory in lubricant business for commercial

and industrial sectors covering the regions of Luzon and Visayas as well as the International

Marine across the country.

NTM offers a complete range of high-quality Mobil product line up for Marine Lubricants,

Industrial Lubricants and Commercial Lubricants that help protect engines and equipment, as

well as enhance efficiency. Mobil lubrication solutions have helped customers across industries

achieved new heights in productivity, environmental care and safe. One of the suppliers to

which KRTC is connected.

MANAGEMENT STAFF

From the shop mechanics to the Management, everyone at KORONDALA RIM AND

TIRE CENTER SURALLAH BRANCH (KRTC SURALLAH) holds themselves and one another

to an integral set of morals. Their team takes full responsibility of the service and product quality

to ensure full satisfaction for each and every customer. they look forward to the opportunity to

work with everybody. KRTC also have an organizational structure, ranking its staff considering
their expertise and defining their respective duties. Other functions are performed by skilled and

experienced human resource towards the business establishments.

C.) THE INDUSTRY/ ENVIRONMENT

KRTC SURALLAH is involved with auto supply services and good quality products like

RIM, TIRES, OIL, and BATTERIES that brings affordable and favorable price on their customer

and also ensuring the first-class treatment. Our market of retail for auto tires etc. is a wide range

of corporate and individual clients and course to make profits, which ensure we go all the way to

make available a wide range of tires, rims, and batteries from top manufacturing brands (CST

tires, MAXXIS, BRIDGESTONE, FIRESTONE, ACHILLES, ORNET INDIA, VIKRANT, PRESA,

APOLLO, for batteries I PRIMERA, MEGAFORCE, ENDURANZE 3K BATTERY, MOTOLITE)

to cite supplier that helps sort good and provide a high quality product.

KRTC SURALLAH has a quality, honest customer-centric and ready to work to help in

building a prosperous business that will benefit all the stakeholders ( the owner, workforce, and

customers) -three staff; cashier/manager (1) and auto mechanics (2) which also accountable to

the highest standards meetings the customer’s needs precisely and completely whenever they

patronize the products. On other hand, the working environment provides a human and

sustainable convenient state. KRTC supporting employees and what is the most important thing

to influence employee motivation and happiness, and how pro-active and efficient they can be,

which will help to achieve their business goal.

Since its beginning KRTC SURALLAH officer’s good quality products and provides

excellent services, a friendly environment, open for questions on the channel of choice of

customers, and respond promptly. KRTC also implemented rules and regulations to protect the

business and company from lawsuits. The following rules may help employees to improve

workforce morale and also help guide actions towards desire results.
KRTC’s POLICIES:

1. Never smoke in or near repair bay or garage.

2. Keep work areas clean and organized.

3. Never wear loose clothing or clothing that ripped or torn.

4. Three consecutive late results to absent.

5. Do not connect multiple electrical devices into a single outlet.

6. Make sure fire extinguisher are easily acceptable and appropriate for all potential fire

types.

KRTC SURALLAH has a company tagline which is “THE HUB OF AFFORDABLE AND

DURABLE TIRES AND BATTERIES” means the center of branded product at a lower price but

has the quality and long-lasting usage offers to the customers.


D.) CURRENT STRATEGIC ISSUE AND ORGANIZATIONAL PROBLEMS

KORONADAL RIM AND TIRE CENTER SURALLAH BRANCH had to operate for 13 years

since 2007. The sales of the branch during that time is increasing although they have a lot of

competitors around the area of the municipality, they are well known for their first-class

knowledge, services, and wheels. KORONADAL RIM AND TIRE CENTER (KRTC SURALLAH)

service standard is what allows us to help enthusiasts like us find the perfect wheels, tires, or

suspension set up for our ride. They are committed to providing support to all current and future

customers, we can count on their experts to be there whenever we need them! They also offer

credit lines to their valued customer but with collateral to ensure that they have something to get

in case a problem will arise during payment.

Until such COVID-19 pandemic came, slowly the sales decrease due to lockdown, no

travel, and shortage of supplies. The corona virus pandemic has laid bare the inadequacies of

many supply chains when it comes to ensuring the safe, secure, and rapid delivery of their

products, because of that problem they cannot easily provide, supply, and distribute it for the

customers and other branches.

Property on lease is one of the future problems that the branch facing today, they cannot

make any renovation and extension for the building for its purpose for services. Aside from that,

the establishment is surrounded by trees that cannot easily find. On other hand, the building is

open for selling where the Koronadal Rim and Tire Center-Surallah Branch used is being

rented.

because some of their competitor here in Municipality of Surallah is already make a strategy on

how their business improved. Our option as follows:

1. Offer an additional service such as;

 Change oil - the processes of removing old, dirty oil in a vehicle and

replacing it with clean oil.

 Change tire - A professional should be able to determine whether your tire

needs a repair or if it's time to replace it.

 Engine repair - It is going to need a rebuild or a replacement.


 Flat tire Repair - a tire that does not have any or enough air in it.

 Battery checkup - Fully charged automotive batteries should measure.

 overhauling

2. Hire an auto repair specialist to do the job that mentioned in number 1.

3. Add some products that they can offer like;

 Car accessories - Added to something else in order to make it more efficient,

useful, or decorative.

 Air freshener - designed to mask or remove unpleasant room odors.

 Chrome RIM’s and Wheel - you are buying a pure forged aluminum wheel

with a polished finish.

 Car/Decal stickers - Personalize your car windows with stickers designed by

independent artists.

After reviewing the background and the operation of the KORONADAL RIM AND TIRE

CENTER SURALLAH BRANCH (KRTC SURALLAH), it showed that the business itself does not

provide vision and mission statement to their employees as well as the public

III. Long term Objective

A.) Objective setting

The KRTC’s main goal is to provide a good quality product at affordable

prices and to satisfy their customer through their services.

1.) Privileged for customer

Creation of credit line for loyal customers with term up to 30 days, giving

discounts price in some chosen brands of tires and rims.

2.) Publicity and promotion

Intensify publicity for the business to promote our product and services by

using radio ads, giving fliers, print ads, tarpaulin, and update the existing

Facebook page to see the availability of the products and services. Encourage

used word of mouth publicity from our loyal customer.

3.) Conduct trainings, seminars to employees


The purpose is to gain more knowledge and awareness and have more

competing skills to keep up with the new trends in the market.

4.) Sustainability and Expansion

We will make sure that the right foundation structures and processing are put in

place to ensured that our staff welfare is well taken of in able to cater and offer more

services like, tire installation, change oils, engine repair, flat tire repair, and battery

checkup. Expand the business through adding purchases of different brands of quality

tires and rims to encourage more wholesalers and retailers which can help to increase

sales.

5.) Organizational Work Flow Chart

The Data Flow Diagram example contains three processes, two external entities and

three data stores. Although there is no design guidelines that governs the positioning of shapes

in a Data Flow Diagram, we tend to put the processes in the middle and data stores and

external entities on the sides to make it easier to comprehend.

Based on the diagram, we know that the Perform Inspection process provides Bill to the

Customer and store the Inspection result into the Inspection data store.

The Perform Maintenance/Repairing process takes Inspection result from Inspection

data store as input, and provides the Customer with the Bill. Besides, Work detail is stored in

the Work Record data store and Parts info. is stored in the Parts Inventory data store. Note that

Data Flow Diagram does not represent the order of data flow. Strictly speaking, this diagram

only tells us the Perform Maintenance/Repairing process receives Inspection result as input and
produce Bill, Work detail and Part info., with no order specified. Keep in mind that Data Flow

Diagram does not answer in what way and in what order the information is being used

throughout a system.

A Mechanics can Order Parts by providing Parts info., and the result is the storage of

Parts info. in the Parts Inventory data store. The process also receives Parts info. from Work

Record data store throughout the process.
