Historical Background
On August 11, 1944, Hauptmann Johannes Bölter got the mission to take the village of Anes Amele and to push
the Russians back to their front line. He started with six Tigers and 50 grenadiers. They hoped to surprise the Russians, 9 x1
but those had build their defense.
The infantry took great suffers and one Tiger was destroyed by a captured German 8,8 cm gun.
The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn and you are in command. The rest is history. 10 x1

Axis takes 5 command cards.
You move first.
Allies takes 5 command cards.

Conditions of Victory
5 medals.
The upper village is temporary victory medal for the
Russians.
The lower village is a temporary victory medal for the
Germans.

Special Rules
Blitz rules are not in effect.
When drawing the Air Power card discard it and draw
another one.
The Soviets have two Heavy Anti guns (Troops 23).
Also, one Soviet infantry is equipped with machine guns
(SWA 7) with late war rules (SWA 4).
Two German infantry units are specialized forces (Troops
2).
One German tank one the road is a Tiger (Troops 16).
Another German tank is Elite Armor (Troops 2).
The river is impassable.
