Quantitative reseach is one of the methodology used in scientific research, it is the process of collecting

and analyzing numerical data. It can be used to find patterns and averages, make predictions, test causal
relationships, and generalize results to wider populations. For example, I want to know about how many
'likes' each post received in my Instagram account when I post it in the afternoon.

Quantitative research is designed with the process of formulating problem, framing into hypothesis,
collecting data through an experiment, measure it in numerical way.

Since this methodology relies on positivism paradigm or realism which means there is only one reality
that can only be obtained after an objective meaaurement, the result of the research should be
objective and reliable. The scientists/researchers can not overplay the result before/during/after the
test or questionnaire been collected. They need to stay away from the object to validate the originality.
When the data has been collected, it is cultivated in numeric way using varies formulas, that is often
called a statistics, either inferential or descriptive.

Lastly, to make it easier to understand quantitative research, I personally highlight the keywords for
quantitative research such as, studies phenomenon, tests theories, objectivity, larger scale, measurable
quantities, numbers, cause and effect relationship, future predictions.

Dear Rezzie, I can't stop admiring on how well you depicts quantitative research on your own words,
since it is clearly understandable.

Then, to summarize yours, quantitative research is a scientific method which adopt positivity logic to
raise logical, statistical, and unbiased result with the process of formulating problem, framing into
hypothesis, collecting data through an experiment, measure it in numerical way, and withdrawal the
conclusions. The type of quantitative research objectivity should and can be used as an act for other
cases in general. You also provide us the type of quantitative research methods such as descriptive
research, correlational research, causal-comparative research, research action, experimental research,
and developmental research.
