forgot about it and after
one year, the Pathan
returns and demands his
money back. On
checking the records,
there was none and an
argument started which
went to the local court.
The nawab commanded
that both are to put their
hands into boiling oil and
whosever hands gets
burned is lying. The Sikhs
performed Ardas to Guru
Ji and agreed to donate 5
Rupees as Langgar and
the Nawab promised his
Pir that he shall give all
the 101 gold coins. Upon
placing the hand, the
Pathan’s hand got
burned. After some time,
the Sikhs found the
container containing 101
gold coins and decided to
return to the Pathan but
the Pathan insisted on
meeting Guru Ji. He too
became a Sikh.
