English For Everyone

English is a very widely spoken international language. According to Brumfit

(2001: 35) English is an international language that it is the most widespread medium
of international communication. People from different social groups also different
countries can communicate with each other because English exists in the world today
as a means of international language. As an international language, English is used as
a means of communication between nations who have different languages. The
difference in the first language will not prevent people from communicating like
English. It is a communication tool that is used orally and in writing. English is a
foreign language that is often used in Indonesia and has even been taught in schools.
How much can English affects our life? As we know, in our age, we love to
watching Korean dramas or maybe movie, right? Not even at our age, moms, dads,
man, woman, boy or maybe girl, we love watching movies. And here, English have a
role as language of the media industry. Many movies are written in English. Even the
movie is not produced in English, but the subtitles or translations that we usually met
are in this language. Also, for everyone who loves to read books, almost all books are
available in English language only. Most of the publishing companies are publishing
books in English language only especially for students who are studying for higher
education because there are lots of schools around the world that offer programmers
in English. By reading books in English, we have the initial provisions to get the
opportunity of that program and feel proud of ourselves, our friends and family.
Speaking English can improve our confidence. Not only useful, by learning
English, we should approve that we enjoy the process. It gives you satisfaction when
you remember every hour you spend when you are learning English. Especially, if we
learn the language through a variety of creative media, like games or quiz. Besides,
we learn, we can also find happiness in ourselves and know the real who we are.
 No matter which country we live, English always became part of our daily
lives. So, having English in our lives is important. Without it and without any desire
to learn English, you will regret it, because you ignore the fact how English affects
your life. English future is going to be bright, it will still remain a very popular one
and tons of people will still want to learn it and if anything, it is going to spoken by
millions more. Because just like we know, English is for everyone.
