CAMAMBUGAN, STA.BARBARA, ILOILO HELD AT THE BARANGAY HALL ON AUGUST 7, 2016 AT
9:00 A.M.

The meeting was called to order by the Presiding Officer at 9:00 o’clock in the morning.
A minute of prayer was led by Kagawad May Gorantes.
Since there is an attendance sheet being signed by the members of the Sangguniang
Barangay as they come inside the session hall and the presence of a quorum was determined,
the roll call was dispensed with.
The minutes of the previous session dated July 17, 2016 was read. There being no
corrections offered, on motion of Kagawad Irenea Cano and was duly seconded by Kagawad
Henry Sulleza. The minutes of the previous session was adopted.

Privilege hour:
1. Mrs. Cecilia Soubiron, sanitary inspector, Sta. Barbara, informed that Sta.Barbara is
number two in dengue cases in the province of Iloilo, from July-August, 2016. She
encouraged the Barangay Council including the BHW to visit their respective household
members for sanitary inspection. She also encouraged them to clean the household and
its surroundings. Brgy. Kagawad will also help them find/ destroy the breeding places of
mosquitoes. She said that if mosquitoes cannot be controlled, there is a possibility that
cases of Zika virus will be recorded. Barangay Health Emergency Response Team
(BHERT) was advised to organize in the barangay.

Committee Report:
1. Kag. Cano informed that she and Mrs. Janet Samaniego, midwife, visited Zone I for
sanitary inspection last July 22, 2016.
2. Kagawad Cordero informed that the Brgy. Tanod meeting scheduled last week was
postponed because there was no barangay tanod who attended. Punong Baranngay said
that Kag. Cordero will set another meeting and inform the others.

Business of the Day:

1. The box culvert in Barangay Zone 3 is dangerous for vehicles. Punong Barangay said that
there was a 35, 000 php budget for cleaning and canalization and wiring wall. Kag.
 Ganat, chairman and member of committee in infrastructure is requested to estimate
the material needed on said project this afternoon.
2. Barangay officials, Brgy. Tanod and BHW will have a “tree Planting” with 150 seedlings
from August 10, 2016, Wednesday at 7:30-8:00 in the morning at Camambugan
Elementary School. BHW will be informed by Kag. Cano and Brgy. Tanod will be
informed by Kag. Cordero.
3. LIGA Day on August 28, 2016
The body of the council agreed to attend the said event at Sports Complex, Lapaz, Iloilo
City. The LIGA office is required to submit T-shirt size of Brgy. officials who will attend.

There being no more topics to be discussed, on motion of Kagawad May Gorantes and
duly seconded by Kagawad Diego Cordero, the meeting was adjourned at 12: 45 PM.

Business of the Day

1. Kagawad Cano informed that the BNS seminar scheduled last July 4 was postponed on July 11,
2016.

2. Kagawad Cano informed that on July 25, there will be a nutrition month program held in the
municipality to be attended by 2 BNBL and a pregnant woman. The 2 BNBL are the children of
Elma Suacillo and Rolinda Sucaldito. The pregnant is Rose de la Cruz.

3. LIGA Day on August 28, 2016 at Sports Complex, Lapaz, Iloilo City.

Registration fee – 600/ participant

per diems - 240/ participant

The body agreed to attend the said event.

corrections offered, on motion of Kagawad Irenea Cano and was duly seconded by Kagawad
Henry Sulleza. The minutes of the previous session was adopted.

Committee Report

1. Kag. Cano, BNS, informed that she will have a meeting, tomorrow, June 4, 2016 at the RHU, STa.
Barbara, Iloilo.

Business of the Day

1. Death aid for the late Alejandro Saloma from the barangay officials worth 1000. Since the burial
will be on July 7, Punong Barangay said that the honorarium will be withdrawed next week
before the 15th of July. Death aid will be provided by Punong Barangay.

2. The two units jet matic pumps were delivered from the Municipal Hall. One is for the Brgy.
project (deep well). The body of the council agreed that Brgy. projects will be continued after
the burial of the Alejandro Saloma.

3. The Barangay Road in Zone 6 was damaged by the running water due to the absence of canals
and also in the lot of Mrs. Libring Sillo. As required by the municipal mayor that the road will be
repainted, Punong Brgy. requested Rodrigo Sondia to make a canal beside the damaged road.

4. ALGAI seminar and workshop on July 21-23, 2016 at Punta Villa Resort, Arevalo, Iloilo City.

1. Punong Barangay informed that the lapida for the lot donor Zozimo Vega was already finished.

1. The burial of Gloria Sulleza is on September 4, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Death aid from Barangay
officials will be provided by Punong Barangay. Since the honorarium will be withdrawed after
the 1st session of the Sangguniang Barangay on Sept. 4. The body of the council agreed to held
the session at 7:00 AM.

2. The Deep Well project of the Barangay in the lot donated by the late Rodolfo Delgado.

Since the 3 bags of cement are about to expire, Russel said that he and his children will work
with jet matic pump for cementing. The lacking materials need will be purchased by Punong
Barangay and to be delivered on Wednesday. The Jaca twins will be helpers.

Other matters:

1. Punong Barangay informed about the budget for CY 2017.

EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 14 S. 2008

ORGANIZATION OF THE BARANAY HEALTH EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (BHERT)

WHEREAS, Section 16 of RA 7160 provides that LGU shall ensure that the general welfare of its
constituents shall be duly protected;

WHEREAS, pursuant to DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2003-95 date May 7, 2003, it is hereby
enjoined that all Punong Barangay cause the creation of the Barangay Health Emergency Response
Team (BHERT) in their jurisdiction;

NOW THEREFORE, I, Domingo S. Suacillo, Punong Barangay of Barangay Camambugan, Sta.

Barbara, Iloilo, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create the Barangay Health

4. Report to the “Municipality Task Force” against infectious diseases.
