Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing January 2018 - Current

- Studying to receive my bachelor’s in science of Nursing. Plan to receive my BSN by December of 2020 and
take the NCLEX by February 2021.

- Completed over 800 hours of clinical experience in various unit settings, including 225 hours of 1:1 clinical
experience on an Orthopedic Medical Surgical Unit in the Fall of 2020.

Virginia Community College’s January 2017 – December 2018

- I have taken various classes at Rappahannock Community College (2014), Germanna community College
(2017), and J. Sargent Reynolds Community College (2018). These courses are general education courses
including developmental psychology and Microbiology.

Carrier Nursing Academy November 2016 – February 2017

- I earned over 122 hours of training completed and received my Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in
February. I received high grades on every test and every skills test. I also learned how to deal with things that
go wrong in a facility and how to respond to them efficiently.

Virginia Commonwealth University August 2014 – May 2016

- I took general education courses with a Pre-Med focus. Identified a love for nursing and began to apply to
Nursing schools in 2018. I left with a 3.5 GPA.

King George High School 2010 – 2014

- Graduated with a High School Advanced Diploma. I graduated High School with a 4.0 GPA and took duel
enrollment, advanced placement classes, participated in swim team and photojournalism.

Experience
PCT Progressive Care Unit - St. Francis Medical Center February 2018 - Current

- As a PCT at St. Francis I am required to perform the following daily tasks including: vital signs every 4
hours, blood sugars, EKG’s, phlebotomy, donning/doffing equipment following COVID 19 precautions,
removing catheters, maintaining telemetry boxes and probes on patients, bathing, transferring, cleaning
rooms, stocking rooms, and charting on the EMR efficiently. I also am trained as the Unit Secretary to
answer phones, communicate orders, schedule consults, file, print as well as make sure the unit is kept
clean and up to regulations. The EMR/charting system: EPIC/Connect Care.
Crew Member – Trader Joes September 2018 – Current

- As a crew member at Trader Joes I am required to interact with customers during open hours, manage a
section of the store (produce section). That includes breaking down pallets, staging product, putting
product on the shelf, and maintaining a “fully stocked section” throughout the day. I also am a cashier
and customer advocate.

CNA Cardiac Progressive Care Unit – Mary Washington Hospital May 2017 – May 2018

- At MWH I proficiently preformed daily tasks that included: bathing patients, taking EKG’s, measuring
and recording Blood Sugars, vital signs every 3-4 hours (on each patient), cleaning rooms (making beds,
organizing, taking out trash and linens), and ordering food and feeding patients. I was also cross-trained
as a HUC (Health Unit Coordinator); which is where I admit/discharge/transfer patients, file, process
orders, make appointments, consulting/paging Doctors and other medical staff. The EMR/charting
system: Soarian.

- As a lifeguard I was in charge of keeping the safety of the swimmers as well as performing rescues,
apply first aid appropriately, take chemical readings, and keep the pool and surrounding areas clean. I
also taught children/adults basic swimming techniques (each varying by swim level) during swim
lessons on a weekly basis.

Volunteer/Travel Abroad - Elephants World, Thailand June 2016 – July 2016

- As a volunteer at Elephants World I was expected to clean up after, bathe, feed (including gardening,
collecting, and preparing the food), and walk the elephants. I also built a wall to help keep the elephants
from going into the gardens, which held most of their food. I also taught children in a local Thai school
English.
