My name is Niamh Lynch, I am 20 years old (born
October 2nd, 2000) and studying English and
French through my Bachelor of Arts course in the
University of Limerick. I am passionate in all
mediums of the creative arts, I enjoy writing –
especially poetry – and am amid writing books in
I worked at The Treehouse in Skibbereen from 2016 through
2019. Responsibilities included serving customers at the till, both
greeting them into the play area and taking customer orders for
the café sector. It also included child responsibility, during peak
busy times I supervised children and attended to those in
difficulty. I particularly enjoyed holiday seasons while working in
The Treehouse, I was allowed express my creativity as we usually
made decorations and hosted events for children such as a
Hallowe’en dance and a Christmas Crafts Party. I helped with

my spare time. I enjoy both studying and playing
music and especially love combining music with my
written work. I also enjoy photography and
videography in my spare time. I’ve always loved
keeping in touch with my physical health through
swimming, dance and strength training at my local
gym.

- The Waterfront Hotel, Baltimore
Present I eventually left my job at The Treehouse after finding The
Waterfront Hotel as they offered me more hours. At the hotel I
am either staffed in the Jolie Brise restaurant as waiting staff or
in the attached Jacobs Bar as a barwoman. In this job I am
expected to carry out usual waiting staff jobs such as seating
customers, taking orders, delivering food and drinks, working the
till and general cleaning. In my second year working there I have
taken up responsibilities in the hotel reception if our boss is
