Directions/Instructions
Each one of us has unique personality. But we also share common characteristics with
others like we are all Filipinos and citizens of this country. And each one of us is an integral part of
our society. We each have our roles to fulfill in order to keep the peace and harmony in our society.
Do you know your part in your society? And can you fulfill your part all by yourself? Try to find these
out by performing the following activities.

Activity 1. Becoming a Good Citizen

Protecting human dignity, rights, and the common good is one of the most important roles
of a good citizen to his/her country. In your answer sheets, write one way to protect the rights of
each of the following people:

1. People with disability


2. Children
3. Women
4. Members of the LGBTQ community
5. Indigenous people

Activity 2: My Statuses and Roles

Copy the diagram below and identify your statuses and roles in your society. In each portion
of the middle circle, write four statuses. Including being a son/daughter in your family and being a
student in your statuses. Examples of statuses you can add are being a church officer, class mayor,
basketball team member. Then write two roles you have for each status in the portions of the outer
circles.

Activity 3: My Family Picture

In your answer sheets, draw your family picture. You may include your grandparents or any
person living with you in your home. Write the names of each person in the picture (ex. Me, Lolo
Dee, Mama Cee, Sister Alex, Nanny McPhee). Beside each name of family member, write their role in
the family.

Ex. Papa Phil – He works as a teacher in order to provide for the family. He is also the one who
decides on important family matters.).
