3M 2179CE Fiber Optical Closure

3M 2179CE is a kind of versatile in-line type fiber optical closure

for fiber cable connection, distribution and drop application for
out side plant fiber network. 2179CE closure is well designed for
smart application with stable high performance. It’s a rigid non-
filled case which has been rigorously tested to prove its integrity
under the most severe conditions of moisture, vibration and im-
pact, cable stress and flexing, and temperature extremes.
The installation of 2179CE closure is very easy and requires no
special tools or complicated training procedures. And the closure
is re-enterable to allow easy access to the enclosed splices.

Applications

The 3M 2179CE closure is an IP68 enclosure system which can organize and protect fiber optic splices in the outside
plant and inside buildings.
