Note : Following instructions must be followed throughout the paper:

 The allocated timing of paper is inclusive of paper submission (i.e., within 24 hours)
 Answer sheet must be hand written with blue ink pen.
 Please write your roll number, name, signature, page number, coure title, course
code, and date on each page of answer sheet.
 Upload the PDF of answer sheet on CMS and if there is any issue student may send it
through e-mail, or Whatsapp.
 The hard answer sheets of all papers in single envelop shall be devolved to the
concerned department thorugh registered post/ by hand within 7 after last paper.
 Matching content/ cheating will lead to cancellation of exam.

Attempt all questions. Limit your answers between 12-15 pages (1 side of paper = 1 page and number
of pages over 15 will be cancelled) and copy/pasted material will result in reduction of marks instead,
more creative and original ideas will be appreciated. All questions carry equal marks i.e., 10
each.

Q1- Among different schools of thought that you’ve studied, which one do you support and why?
Support your answer with examples of its applications?
Q2- You’ve read about memory. Keeping in mind the possible causes for forgetting, share 10 recent
instances of your forgetfulness and mention the possible reason.

Q3- What is meant by intelligence in psychology? Is it a single ability or a sum of abilities?

Discuss.
Q4- Keeping in view cognitive dissonance theory, write about your experience related to
attitude change. Pinpoint at least 5 such instances.
Q5- Among different trends being followed in some societies, is use of certain substances
that alter one’s consciousness during different ceremonies. Share your opinion about why
they use such substances.
