IDC4 TRUCK SOFTWARE UPDATE 39.0.

Dear Customer,

The TRUCK 39 software update includes all the new diagnostic features regarding
the most important and widespread international makes of industrial vehicles, light
commercial vehicles and buses. The extraordinary diagnostic coverage allows
technical repairers worldwide to work with great efficiency and competence on
heavy-duty vehicles in their workshops.
Among the new software features introduced starting from this update, we wish to
highlight the new TPMS Repair App, which allows you to carry out operations
connected to tyre pressure monitoring using the innovative TPS tool.
As far as the diagnostic developments are concerned, it is important to highlight,
among others, the work completed for the Euro 6 and EPA 13 vehicles of the makes
MERCEDES-BENZ TRUCK, DAF, SCANIA, IVECO TRUCK, FREIGHTLINER,
KENWORTH AND INTERNATIONAL.
The TRUCK 39 software update offers new and very useful Wiring Diagrams and
DASHBOARDS.
NEW DIAGNOSTIC FEATURES - EUROPEAN, ASIAN and SOUTH AMERICAN

MERCEDES-BENZ TRUCK:
- Management of the new Euro 6 variants, update of the following systems:

 DAF EU5:
- The trip data recording function was added to the DMCI injection system.
- The VIN writing function was added to the EAS1 SCR system.
- The VIC3 system was updated with new control unit variants.
DAF EU6:
- The trip data recording and reset function was added to the PCI injection system.
- The regeneration procedure in the EAS3 SCR system was updated.
SCANIA EU5:
- The number of occurrences data was added in the FreezeFrames on the S7
injection systems.
- The parameters and statuses were added to the EBS/ABS.
SCANIA EU6:
- New OPC5 transmission system.
- New ELC4 suspension system.
- New VIC2 exterior light control unit system.
IVECO TRUCK:
- The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) ARS327 system was added.
- The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) ARS200 system was added.
- The Wabco Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) was added.
- The Denoxtronic 2.2 control unit replacement function with ECU reprogramming
in recovery was added.
- The IBC2 control unit configuration file storage function was added.
- The VCM and MET systems were updated for Eurocargo and Trakker EU6.
VOLARE:
- The EDC 7UC31 Bosch injection system and error list were updated and the
pressure limiting valve reset was added.
- The Bosch EDC 7 C 1 injection system was updated and new parameters were
added.
- The SCR MWM Euro5 system and error list were updated and new parameters
were added.
VOLKSWAGEN:
- The V-Tronic 6AS transmission system was developed for Constellation.

SINO TRUCK:
- The new SCR system for the HOWO A7 models was added.
- The new Automatic transmission system was added for the HOWO A7 models.
HALDEX TRAILER:
- The FLEET data reading function was added.
WABCO TRAILER:
- New control unit variants were added for the TEBS E5 system.
RENAULT KANGOO II 2013:
- The new SID307injection system was added.
- The EDC17C42 injection, ABS, instrumentation, airbag systems were updated.
IVECO DAILY 2014:
- The new Marelli ITM Iveconnect multifunction display system was added.
- The new Denso air conditioning system was added.
- The new LDWS Lane Departure Warning System was added.
IVECO DAILY 2000:
- The new EDC16C39 injection system with diagnosis in CAN and K was added.
MERCEDES-BENZ:
- The new models Vito (447) and V-Klasse (447) were added, with ESP 9 system,
Airbag SRS system, steering column switch unit system and electric power
steering.
- The CRD3 injection system was updated for the OM651 engine on Sprinter 906,
the static regeneration and on-road regeneration were added.
- The Airbag system in Sprinter 901/905 was updated.
HYUNDAI:
- The new model Hyundai H350 was added with the following systems:

NEW TRUCK TOOL: TPS
Another important new feature introduced starting from the TRUCK 39 update is the
possibility to use the TPS tool for operations connected to tyre pressure monitoring.
TPS communicates with the valves on each wheel: by placing it near the valve, it is
able to activate it if it is in standby mode and then verify its efficiency, indicating on
its built-in display the pressure, temperature, state of charge of the battery, other
the identification code and all the additional information provided by the
manufacturer.
The procedures are simplified thanks to an extremely clear menu that guides the
operator step by step through the single operations. This way, you are able to verify
the state of wear of the sensor and eventually replace it.

NEW TEXA APP: TPMS Repair

By activating the TPMS Repair App in combination with the TPS tool, you can
accurately complete all the check operations connected to the efficiency of the tyre
pressure sensors installed in Trucks, Buses or Trailers.
By working with the TPS tool, the diagnostic functions offered by IDC4E TRUCK for
the tyre pressure control systems become even easier and give tangible advantages
in terms of reducing the time, especially in the initialisation procedures that follow
the replacement of the sensors or of the tyres during seasonal maintenance
services.
The TPMS Repair App allows diagnostic compatibility with the most common makes
of sensors such as Wabco, Bendix, Huf, etc. and the possibility to monitor their status
quickly and to print a final report.
Notes:
The installation depends on the actual configuration of the tool. Verify the
compatibility of your device with your TEXA retailer. TEXA does not guarantee full
compatibility of the functions in the App with its old generation products/devices.
Some functions and contents may not be available for all the vehicles. The
management of the TPMS sensors in the TRUCK category is not supported by the
TPS Key.

 NEW DIAGNOSTIC FEATURES - NORTH AMERICAN MARKET
The new features for the North American market are very interesting, thanks to
important diagnostic developments connected to the most common makes and
models such as Isuzu, Hino, Mitsubishi Fuso, Detroit Engine, International,
Freightliner and many more.

Starting from the TRUCK 39 version, the VIN Scan and HD ScanTool functions have
been improved.
Another important news is the enhancement of the extraordinary SOLVED
PROBLEMS function.
VIN SCAN
The VIN Scan function was improved for the Heavy-Duty environment, now applied
to all the manufacturers.
HD SCANTOOL
The function was improved and the number of control units that can be analysed
was increased.
Allison:
- The Generation 5 system for the 2017 EPA13 vehicles was updated.
Isuzu:
- The new model Isuzu 2017 5.2 Diesel was added.
Hino:
- New Aisin automatic transmission system.
- New Denso Common Rail EPA 98/04 injection system for the Hino Truck Series
300.
- The Denso Common Rail injection system error list was updated.
- The SCR Burner Control Unit (BCU) EPA 07/10/13 injection system error list
was updated.
- The VCS Vehicle Control System error list was updated.
Mitsubishi Fuso:
- The Denso Common Rail EPA7 injection system was updated and the following
functions were added:

regeneration and on-road regeneration were added.
International:
- The Body controller Gateway system was updated and the parameter reading
for new variants was improved.
CUMMINS
- The Core 1 J1708/J1587 system was updated, the idle stop and multiplexing
parameterisations were implemented.
- The Core 2 system was updated for the 2017 EPA13 vehicles.
Wabco:
- The Wabco D ABS was updated completely.
- A new diagnostic system was developed for the HPB ABS control unit.
- The diagnosis was added to trailers with the PLC protocol.
SOLVED PROBLEMS NEW FEATURE: TROUBLESHOOTING
With the release of the TRUCK 39 version, the "SOLVED PROBLEMS" function,
that can be used directly from the IDC4E environment, has another style offering
even more support with problem solving.
SOLVED PROBLEMS is now divided into:

- Troubleshooting, that is the logical and systematic search for the cause of a
problem, the analysis of the symptoms and reaching the solution following a precise
flow.
- Workshop experience, where you can find practical solutions that resulted from
the consultations of tens of thousands TEXA customers worldwide with our Call
Centers.
In particular, makes such as Cummins, Detroit and Volvo were enhanced with
helpful problem solving contents in this version.

WARNING FOR USERS WHO HAVE OLD GENERATION TOOLS
We also wish to inform you that, although TEXA tries its best to keep its "old
generation" diagnostic tools updated through an active subscription (for example
NAVIGATOR MOBILE and TRIBOX with A-DIA module), the electronics in modern
vehicles is often very complex and requires diagnostic tools with advanced
technological features. For this reason, for some new systems, some advanced
diagnostic operations could not be available using “old generation” tools. For further
information, contact your local retailer.
N.B. As we have already informed you previously, starting from January 1st 2016,
the CAR, TRUCK and BIKE versions will no longer support the AXONE 3,
MULTIPEGASO, PEGASO EXPANDER, PEGASO MOBILE platforms.

 Furthermore, starting from the same date, the CAR and TRUCK versions will no
longer support the AXONE 2000 diagnostic tool.
COMPATIBILITY OF TEXA'S IDC4E SOFTWARE AND THE NEW WINDOWS 10
OPERATING SYSTEM
In order to make the IDC4E software compatible with the new software technologies
introduced by Microsoft in the new Windows 10 operating system, we wish to inform
you that:
- for the 64-bit version of Windows 10 the IDC4E versions CAR 60, TRUCK 38,
BIKE 25, MARINE 11, OHW 14 are compatible and can be installed.
- for the 32-bit version of Windows 10 the IDC4E versions CAR 60, TRUCK 39,
BIKE 25, MARINE 11, OHW 14 can be installed but some accessory software
functions are still not guaranteed. For this reason, we recommend staying connected
to the Internet in order to receive the updates.
If upgrading the PC from Windows 7 or 8 to the 32-bit version of Windows 10 with
IDC4E already, it must be reinstalled at the end of the transfer.
