Dear Mr. Gates,

We are current students at Washington State University focusing on being Elementary

educators. We are passionate about English Language Learning (ELL) students and
making their education successful. We both have different backgrounds, Elizabeth is
from Sedro Woolley Washington and Yessica is from Kennewick Washington, but we
have been researching the lack of bilingual resources given to ELL students and want to
focus on helping those in the Sedro Woolley School District.

We have noticed that you are continuously donating to the Sedro Woolley School
District, this month you donated $49,275. We were hoping that you would consider
donating at least one third of the amount you donate specifically to providing resources
to English Language Learners. Resources that are beneficial to ELL students include but
are not limited to technology to be able to use bilingual programs and bilingual reading
for all students to interact together.

We appreciate your generous donations to the district but we ask that you consider
donating specifically to the English Language Learning department in the Sedro Woolley
School District.
