If we are going to film in Bristol University’s ground then we will have to get permission.
Audio/visual problems:(how will you deal with sound/visual interruptions from passing cars, the
public, road works, airplanes/trains, police sirens, wind, general interruptions to filming and audio)
We will have a zoom mic, and headphones. With a shotgun mic connected to the zoom with a dead
cat on the shotgun mic so we can prevent the audio from picking up wind noises.
Weather conditions: (could the weather affect your filming in any way?)
Continuity: (is anything about the location likely to change during the shoot or if you return to it to
film more than once? E.g. roadworks in 1st shot/ gone in next, poster on wall/gone in next shot)
Electricity/Lighting issues: (will you need an electricity supply and is there access to one? Is lighting
adequate or does it need altering?
We will use natural light and there will be no plug in sockets unless we are filming indoors on the
Bristol University campus. But we should bring extra batteries for when we are not indoors.
Set dressing: (does your set contain everything you want to show in your scene or will it need
something else adding to it to have the impact you want?)
Welfare: (can your crew/talent get refreshments, are there toilets near, is it far? do they need to
stay overnight near filming location?)
There are some cafes near by. And I do not think all cafes will have toilets working as Covid19
restrictions will be taking place.
Parking/Public transport to location: (how will the crew/talent get to the location? Is there parking
or a bus/train station near by?)
Covid 19 restrictions: (how will you manage Covid – 19 restrictions, e.g 1 metre rule, masks,
sanitiser?)
Wear a mask, use hand sanitiser often and stay socially distanced.
