Comparing the developmental trajectories of marijuana use of African
American and Caucasian adolescents

This study overlooked the concept of marijuana use between African Americans

and Caucasians. As Marijuana use increases, so does the developmental trajectories

therefore this topic was very relevant and provided plentiful information. There are many

previous studies that analyzed the topic of marijuana effects and both their similarities

and differences between these 2 races. Findings showed both the developmental

patterns and outcomes associated with marijuana for African Americans and

Caucasian differ. Ultimately, the effects of Marijuana may differ between races, as they

were proven to between African Americans and Caucasians.
