Rationale

I participated in virtual parent/teacher conferences for 5th grade


with my cooperating teacher, Mrs. Shannon. In particular, I felt the
conference with Jackson’s mother (Ms. Work) was the most
beneficial for my professional growth and the growth of Jackson. I
participated in the collaboration of school professionals and
parents and learned how teachers express concerns and reply to
parental concerns reasonably. I helped by sharing my experiences
with Jackson and by advocating for Jackson to come to school four
days a week. Jackson benefitted from coming four days a week
because we were able to assist him with keeping track of
assignments and help him stay focused during class.
