RE : GUIDELINES IN APPLYING FOR TRUST PROGRAM

With the successful launching of the Trust Program that aims to assist employees during financial
crisis and emergency, the management in compliance with the new released regulation of DOLE
would like to implement fastest and most convenient way in settling cash loans.

In this regard, please be guided for the following guidelines:


1. Payment term for CA shall be through salary deductions and effective for existing and
new account on February 15, 2019.
2. Salary Deduction Form shall be given by the Compensation and Benefits Officer and the
employee-borrower shall accomplished the form in processing his/her application. Thus,
same application shall take effect for existing account.
3. Payment shall reflect on payslip provided by the company every cut-off.
4. Furthermore, same guidelines on application and processing of CA shall apply.
4.1. The company shall grant cash advance to cover expenses of employees due to the
following emergency cases or needs:
a. Hospitalization and/or major medical expenses
b. Funeral and burial expenses
c. House repairs
d. Education related expenses
e. Others, however subject for approval
4.2. CA amount is maximum of 2 months’ salary of employee but subject to net pay
analysis.
4.3. Cash Advance Form must be accomplished attached with the supporting documents
and undergo pre-approval of HRMD
4.4. CA application may be disapproved upon validation of the reason.
4.5. Should an employee-borrower need fund for another emergency obligation, he may
be allowed to re-apply after his previous cash advance has been settle. Thus, he/she is
considered temporarily banned for the program until full payment has been settled.
