Key of Listening Comprehension


Part A: short conversation
 Focus on two peoples .
 Don’t panic
 If you do not know how to comprehend what are the second speaker talking about,
choose the answer that really different from what have you hear.
Part B: longer conversation
 When the narrator reading directions part B you should select answer at a glance and
estimate the theme of the conversation.
 Pay attention to conditions and situations that happened during the conversation, namely
the place and time of the conversation, what and who that’s talking about.
Part C: talks
 Alert the talk on the sentence first because usually will be that topic for the next
sentences.
 Focus on 5W-H.
 Make a conclusion/inferasi of the situation..

 Pay attention to the sentence being asked.
 Note the answer provided
 Do not imitate an answer choice by looking only at the answer without looking at the
sentence of the question
 Pay attention and organize the underline word and find out exactly which part is not right
 If the problem you face can not be identify by looking at word or group of words that
underlined, then immediately read the completed sentence.
Key of Reading Comprehension
 Don’t read the text too long time.
 Pay the attention for the question that included in a text and remember the key word.
 Don’t panic
 Do the previewing to understand the text topic.
 Pay attention for the first sentence from a text paragraphf to get the main idea.
 Comprehending the context
 Doing scanning to find certain information related to question request.
 Organize the data to get the conclusion.
