Abstract
Natural fiber reinforced composite materials increasingly replace the use of plastics in the engineering field as in architecture,
property, and the automotive industries.
Reducing the use of plastic can be done by using natural fiber reinforced
composite materials in the engineering field as in architecture, property, and the
automotive industry that is currently on a very rapid increase and trying to shift the
existence of synthetic materials. Jute fiber is one of the natural fibers that can
improve mechanical properties of the composite. Some of the advantages obtained
and
of from natural fibers are biodegradable, environmentally friendly, renewable, and can
anisotropic
improve the properties of its matrix. However, the heterogeneous properties of
natural fibers makes researches on natural fiber reinforced composites still need to improve its
demand more researches performance.

The purpose of this study was to determine the number of fiber stacks and
the optimum
good types of the resin material to obtain optimal flexural strength on jute fiber
reinforced polymer composites so that it can tobe used as a plastic material
replacement for making center cover of motorcycle.
Variations in the number of stacks of fiber are 1, 2, 3, and 4 sheets and types

vacuum resin infusion process with three bending points testing method according
to ASTM D7264 standard. and examined by using
